
Skip’s background includes over 30 years of experience in banking and financial planning.
Since 2002, Skip has served as a Financial Consultant specializing in helping higher net worth families manage their financial affairs. His practice strives to provide his clients a comprehensive and integrated approach toward meeting their financial needs. He offers his clients a range of financial services that include investment management, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and insurance.
Previous Experience
Prior to building his financial consulting practice, Skip spent the majority of his career in banking. While working at Bank One (1995-2000), Skip acted as a Managing Director within its Capital Markets group. His responsibilities focused on helping middle market and large companies obtain financing for various business needs. Prior to that, he worked as a team leader on a variety of risk management investment projects, reporting directly to the Chief Auditor of the bank.
Before joining Bank One, Skip worked for Chemical Bank and its predecessors (1990-1994) in New York City. While at Chemical Bank, he held positions in its acquisition finance and high yield bond origination businesses. Skip’s career began at the Huntington National Bank (1984-1988).
Education
Skip holds his economics degree from Middlebury College (’84) and his M.B.A. from The University of Virginia (’90). He holds his Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial.
